Good day folks!
Here's a little about myself.
My name is Lennart. I'm a half crazy Swede who decided to invest most of my money (can you believe that?) and a considerable amount of my time in Zimbabwe. 
For a couple of years I was searching all over the country for a perfect place for me and my family.  
At last I found it, high up in the mountains of the Eastern Highlands!
The place had been abandoned for many years, like so many other properties up here, and rather run down, but I fell in love with it the moment I came here. 
For the last 3 years I've been renovating the houses at the property. I've been trying to make it  rustic and economical so that visiting this beautiful area won't cost a fortune.
I hope that many people will take the chance to explore this beautiful part of Zimbabwe. It has so much to offer! The Eastern Highlands  must be one of the most beautiful places in the world. I know Zimbabwe has much other to offer, like Vic Falls, Kariba, Hwange, The Lowefelts, Matopos, Great Zimbabwe, just to mention a few, but The Highlands, and take my word for it, is something really special.  
The cabin is just some 100 meters from the main house with it's own entrance from the road. 

My caretaker Cornelius and his wife Irene, will see to that you got plenty of hot water and firewood for the braai. We do have plenty of water here and it's perfectly good water since it comes from a mountain well, but if you prefer crystal clear drinking water, bring you own. The cabin is in a very quit and safe area (like most of Zimbabwe) The kitchen in the Rondaval is fully equipped with a gas stove, a small fridge and all pots and pans, glasses, plates and cutlery you need.
